South African Rooibos (Redbush) Iced Tea, Rooibos tea (known in Britain as Redbush), grown in South Africa is naturally caffiene free and low in tannins so it’s healthier and doesn’t have the heavy tannin taste that puts me off most regular teas You can also buy Organic Rooibos which is even better This iced tea lasts for ages in the fridge and it’s really light and refreshing!, This is good but mine turned out too bitter in terms of the citrus peels My organic rooibos tea bags also included honeybush as well used more honey per my preference I prefer plain cold rooibus on it’s own to this , This is lovely It has been quite hot here and we have been making a lot of iced tea, but have become bored with our usual varieties We have never heard of or tasted rooibos before and I became quite curious when I came upon your recipe I was expecting that it would be hard to find, but they actually sell several kinds/mixes at the regular grocery store We love it, and love your recipe that adds the mint, citrus, and ginger We opted to add a splash of honey as well This will definately become one of our regular drinks, especially in the summer as it is so refreshing Thanks for posting this!
