Restaurant-Style Salsa (Pioneer Woman), I must say I was skeptical of making salsa with other than fresh tomatoes, but i was pleasantly surprised Like Pioneer Woman, I also don’t like most of the store-bought salsa because of the vinegar flavor used diced tomatoes instead of whole and a lot more cilantro, but the recipe is posted as written Recipe courtesy of The Pioneer Woman Cooks, Food From My Frontier , A staple in my family – as in I make this probably once a week (at least) We don’t do spice so I omit the pepper but everything else as is , This salsa is very good It rivals restaurant recipes and tastes fresh The ingredients meld even better when saving it till the next day Ree’s recipe from the food network site shows using seeds and membranes for the salsa That made a very spicy salsa To tone it down seed and take out the membranes Otherwise it goes beautifully with food, chips, tacos, eggs, etc It makes a large batch as well so perfect for a potluck or party Thanks for posing AmyZoe!
