Roast Beef Slather, Also adds to the flavour of gravy made from pan drippings, OR slice potatoes about 1/4 inch thick and place around roast for last 45 minutes of roasting, rub slices into pan residue around roast. This slather is particularly good with recipe #27007., I followed this recipe to a “T”, but it just didn’t have very much taste to it. Sorry!!, used this on my beef roast and put it in the crockpot on low for 8 hours. Mmmm, was really good, I would prefer a bit more garlic but I will know for the next time. It is such a quick marinade to put together and adds a nice zip to the meats. I can see it being good on pork as well.
