Roast Chicken, A little experiment that I discovered my family really likes , I had a ball making the chicken with apples! It’s a unique accompaniment but did the trick to satisfy hunger pangs Paired with straw basket Chianti a fine meal was had My 5 lb bird was ready in about 1 hr 45 minutes , This chicken turned out very moist Unfortunately, I didn’t think it had much flavor other than chicken Not bad, but not excellent either Also, the skin didn’t really crisp up at all

Wash and Dry Chicken. |

Pour Olive Oil Onto One Hand and Coat All of the Chicken. |

Season With Salt and Pepper. |

Cut Celery Into Half Inch Chunks and Apples Into Eights. |

Place in Oven at 350f and Baste Every Half Hour or So. |
