Saganaki Greek Fried Cheese Squares

    Cuisine:

I live next to a city that is mainly Greek restaurants and gets a lot of tourism for the Sponge Docks and just love having this appetizer!! The combination of the salty cheese, butter and lemon juice is so flavorful. Can serve it with pita bread or type of bread of your choice, or heck, just eat it plain as it is delicious.

Saganaki (Greek Fried Cheese Squares), I live next to a city that is mainly Greek restaurants and gets a lot of tourism for the Sponge Docks and just love having this appetizer!! The combination of the salty cheese, butter and lemon juice is so flavorful Can serve it with pita bread or type of bread of your choice, or heck, just eat it plain as it is delicious , I loved the combination of the richness of the butter, the tartness of the lemon juice, and the saltiness of the cheese I believe I cut my cheese in too small of bites, because it started melting in the skillet before it got golden brown I know it would have been even more delicious with a nice brown crisp to it Made for Newest tag Thanks for sharing!
