    This was nice but I found the salami a bit heavy and strong-tasting for the delicate flavour of the eggs. I made half the recipe and used the suggested slice of tomato as well as some finely snipped chives. The canapes puffed up beautifully in the oven but were a little dry when they cooled.

    Line Base and Sides of Two 12-Hole, 1/3-Cup Capacity Muffin Pans With Salami.

    Pour 1 Tablespoon Egg Into Each Salami Case. Sprinkle With Cheese.

    Bake For 6 to 8 Minutes or Until Egg Is Set and Cheese Has Melted. Season With Salt and Pepper. Serve.
