Savory Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Skillet Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

I made a half recipe since my hubby does not care for sauerkraut and did find it needing something extra to put more flavor in it. Always use kluski noodles as they hold up well in just about anything. Drained and rinsed the sauerkraut, cubed the smoked sausage and used mild cheddar cheese. Next time would add onion and garlic powder, maybe a shake or two of celery seed, fresh ground pepper and swiss cheese instead of cheddar. Seasoned bread crumbs or even crushed Ritz crackers would be nice for the topping. Made and reviewed for the Alphabet tag game.

    Steps

    1
    Done

Cook Egg Noodles as Per Directions on Package. I Really Like the Pennsylvania Dutch Kluski Noodles as They Add Great Texture to This Dish, but I'm Sure Any Thick Egg Noodle Will Work. Set Aside.

Slice or Cube Kielbasa - We Cube as We Like It Spread Throughout the Casserole More Thoroughly.
