Uncle Tom’s Appetizer Meatball Sauce,A Saskatchewan Roughrider recipe that never fails to please. Surprisingly this ketchup based sauce empties long before the other offerings and always an empty platter. So simple … so good! I love this sauce using our Canadian Diva’s Recipe#58094. Recipe courtesy of Tom Whitehouse. Use freshly prepared meatballs or prepared frozen. These can be made and ready to use at a moments notice!,Like Bonnie, used brown sugar instead of white, but I kept the rest of the recipe the same, and it was a hit.,used a double batch of this sauce for 4 lbs of small frozen Italian meatballs and it worked perfectly for a high school graduation party. There was enough sauce to coat the meatballs well, without getting soupy. The combination filled a 6 qt slow cooker, and the kids raved about it and finished it off, while leaving us leftover chicken nuggets and franks in a blanket.
