Simple Apple Crisp,I found this scribbled inside a book dated 1916 in my grandma’s attic. It’s still a bomb dessert after all these years.,hor u make the toping,Had some organic pink lady apples that were not very sweet, but didn’t want to throw them out. I had all of the ingredients to make this, but slicing up a lemon for one teaspoon of juice seems like a waste. I had some lemonade on hand and just subbed 1/2 cup of lemonade for the water/lemon juice. Worked perfectly. I also used an onion chopper to dice up the unpeeled apples and I loved how that worked so fast and easy.
