Simple Pumpkin Dump Cake,Got this recipe off the internet. I’ve taken it to church a couple of times and everyone loved it. This is a good fall dessert.,I believe I like this better than pumpkin pie!! I added the following tweaks: reduced sugar to 1/2 cup and used packed brown sugar instead of white; kicked up the spices to 1 t. of pumpkin pie spice and 2 t. of cinnamon. II cut the cold sticks of butter into pieces and placed on the top of the cake batter. I find this method works better than melting the butter first. This is a great recipe for beginner bakers.,If you like pumpkin pie you’re probably going to LOVE this! I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The bottom is like a smooth pumpkin custard and the top got (and stayed!) crisp. SO GOOD!
