Slow Cooker African Stew (Flat Belly), Very flavorful stew from the Prevention Flat Belly Diet , Good stew! I made this even easier by just dumping everything except the salt & pepper in my crockpot and cooking on low for 8 hours Prep was super quick and everything was done by the time I came home from work I had to sub almond butter for the peanut butter as that was all I had, but it was tasty My bf loved it Thanks for posting , This was fantastic We really enjoyed it I served it with rice (I know, that ruined the whole low-carb thing) Anyway, thanks for posting Very delicious!!

1. Heat the Oil in a Large Nonstick Skillet Over Medium-High Heat. Add the Chicken and Cook, Stirring Occasionally, For 3 to 4 Minutes or Until Lightly Browned. Transfer to a 4-Quart Slow Cooker. Return the Skillet to the Heat and Add the Onion, Garlic, Chile Pepper, and Carrot. Cook For 1 Minute, Then Transfer to the Slow Cooker. Stir in the Sweet Potato, Broth, Peanut Butter, and Tomato Paste. |
