Directions
Slow Cooker Cabbage Roll Casserole, Yummy and less work than the real cabbage rolls. There is no rice in this recipe, because I don’t like rice in my cabbage rolls., My 3 kids and I all loved this recipe. The only tweak I had to make due to ingredients on hand was for the sauce I only had one 8oz can of tomato sauce so added a small can of V-8. We loved it so much I would make it that way each time., Tasty and very easy! I would increase the meat to 1.5 to 2 lbs, increase the garlic, and increase the tomato sauce to 30 oz. Took about 6 hours in my crock pot. When they say a small head of cabbage they mean a small head! I got a large head only thing my store had and could only fit 3/4 of it into my big crock pot. It was a little soupy, but the soupy part tasted nice so I ate it with a spoon.

Spary Crock Pot With Nonstick Cooking Spray. |

Crumble the Raw Ground Turkey or Beef and Spread Along Bottom of Crock Pot. |

Add the Onions, Green Pepper, Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Thyme and Cabbage. |

Pour the Diced Tomatoes Over Top. |

Mix the Sugar Into the Tomato Sauce and Pour Over Everything. If You Like More Sauce, Add Another 8-Oz or 15-Oz Can of Tomato Sauce. |

Cover and Cook on Low For About 8 Hours or on High For About 4 Hours. |
