Slow Cooker Chili for 2, Just the right amount for 2, This recipe says to use 16 oz of beans (a pound) in a 1 1/2 quart slow cooker but even though all the ingredients fit, it had too much beans in it and by 3 hours, all the liquid inside had consumed It turned out too chunky The chili tasted ok but I ended up taking beans out and added more water (adjust spices) so the chili did not dry out So my tip is USE LESS BEANS, LIKE 8 OUNCES Its just hard to find a decent 1 1/2 quart slow cooker recipe
