Swiss Steak, This recipe is a long-time family favorite from “First” magazine. It can easily be adapted for the crock pot., I’ve made this several times, but somehow I’ve manage to forget to rate it! Ok, for one, super easy and two it’s super good! Only thing I always do different, and I do it in every recipe, is I add way more garlic, like 5-6 cloves, because that’s what we like and I always add the large can of tomatoes. Other than that, made exactly as written. Great served with mashed potatoes and veggie of your choice., I have made a this as the recipe reads & I have made a couple of changes such as adding a can of diced tomatoes & a small can of tomato sauce .
