Tailgate Caramel Apple Dip,Great for all types of fresh apples, and quick to make. Have some of this after you go picking apples at the orchard!,Great recipe… I agree just a tad too sweet as a couple others have said (hence the 4 stars). I think I’ll cut the brown sugar by 1/3 next time. So good to have an excellent recipe that I can work with and modify to my liking. As a couple other reviewers said, I cooked and stirred closer to 10 minutes until I felt it wasn’t at all grainy. The kids devour apples with this caramel… everyone loves it! : ),This tasted wonderful. I did have issues with the condensed milk separating – don’t know if maybe I didn’t cook it long enough? The dip looked very unappealing after the separation, although I was able to (more or less) stir the milk back in. Also, unless you’re making enough for 20-30 people, you might want to cut the recipe in half.
