The Best Sweet and Sour Sauce,This came from Taste of Home’s Quick Cooking and is much better than anything I’ve created on my own. The sauce is thick and gooy and goes well with so many things.,Can this be made ahead of time and refrigerated for a couple of days, then served room temp?,Finally, a sweet and sour sauce recipe that doesn’t contain ketchup! Will try it this weekend. I figure I’ll stir-fry it with diced chicken, red and green bell peppers and pineapple chunks and put it on top of steamed brown rice. Can’t wait! 🙂
