Ultimate Moist and Delicious Banana Bread Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

I've looked for 40 years for a banana bread recipe that I can truly love. This is it. I do use half Crisco Butter flavored and 1/2 real butter and for some inexplicable reason it takes only 50 min. to bake for me. I live at altitude and everything always takes longer not shorter to bake. So, a mystery. I mix it all by hand except for the initial butter/Crisco and sugar. I also use lemon juice with milk for the buttermilk. I bake it in a Bundt pan. Perfect recipe. Thank you Tracy H.!

The Best Banana Bread,This is one of the recipes I am known for. Super moist and super yummy. I have tried many over the years and always come back to this. I often give it as a gift around the holidays. Just may be the last banana bread recipe you ever try! Can also make 3 mini-loaves,I’ve looked for 40 years for a banana bread recipe that I can truly love. This is it. The best part is its moistness (if that’s even a word???) I have friends and family begging me to make this recipe for them regularly, even giving me brown bananas! Once in a while I add walnut pieces for an extra crunch. Also I add the bananas in last so that way they dont all break down and you get a few chunks in the bread:)
