Tex-Mex Dip Aka Seven-Layer Dip, Also called 7 Layer Dip This recipe came from Family Circle Magazine sometime around the late 70’s, it also said it appeared in the Ft Worth Star-Telegram which use to read faithfully This has been my sons favorite dip for years , My oldest sister taught me this same recipe back in the early 80s I’ve been making it ever since It’s the best bean and avocado dip I’ve ever tried , My grandma has been making this EXACT dip recipe since I was a little girl in the 1980s I was online looking for her recipe and I finally found the exact one she always used I knew this was for sure when I saw this recipe came from 1970s magazine!
