The Texas Squealer Burger,This is my version of a Texas classic. This burger is moist, flavorful and stays together well when grilling!,LOVE this burger!!! I have tried soooo many burger recipes trying to find the perfect one and was telling my husband how I hate grilling burgers because they always turn out so bland and dry. I decided to try this one and it was seriously a killer burger! Delicious, flavorful, juicy!!! AH-mazing!! We didn’t use bacon because we don’t eat pork, and I added five drops of mesquite liquid smoke. I CANNOT WAIT to make these again!! Everyone commented on how GREAT they were!,turned out great, i made a little change, used Lipton Recipe Secrets onion soup mix, 1 envelope not the minced onion, it went better with the bacon and i did them in b/q pit on low heat for about 4 minutes per side then on high till they had a crust .

Steps
1
Done
|
Begin by Chopping the Raw Bacon Finely With a Sharp Knife. I Slice It in Half, Then in Strips, Then Dice It. the Key Is to Make It Small. I Do not Recommend a Food Processor Because It Heats the Bacon Up Too Much and Can Become Gummy. |

Gently Mix All Ingredients in a Large Bowl and Add the Bacon. Form Into 6-8 Patties and Put in the Freezer For 30 Minutes Before Grilling. This Is not a Necessary Step, but I Think the Meat Holds Together Nicely When the Patties Go on Cold. |

Grill Patties Approximately 5 Minutes on Each Side. Allow Them to Rest 5 Minutes Before Serving. |

Top With Cheese If You Wish and Any of Your Favorite Toppings. |
