1/4 cup dark soy sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon palm sugar (or substitute) or 1 tablespoon honey

      Bring to Boil, Then Reduce Heat to Simmer, Cover Pan and Cook Until Meat on Ribs Is Very Tender and Liquid Reduced.

      Uncover, Stir in Honey or Sugar Until Dissolved.
