2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 (12 ounce) jar red peppers, drained and cut into strips
2 (8 ounce) boxes of spanish-syle rice yellow rice mix
2 teaspoons garlic salt

    Slow Cooker Arroz Con Pollo, This was Great would suggest to toss the rice in last after chicken has been cooking a while I prefer not so mushy rice! To each his own if you prefer mushy rice put it all together I also omit the peas (peas are yucky-lol 🙂 , Do the measurements in parenthesis mean total amount or single amount? For example, is it 2 chickens that total 3 lbs for both? Or 2 3 lb chickens which equals 6 lbs of chicken total?, I added the rice and peas in the last 30 minutes before serving as others suggested It was a good base, but a bit bland For the leftovers, I mixed in some tomato paste and cumin, and that did the trick I’d recommend a teaspoon or so of cumin and either a quarter cup of tomato paste or a second can of stewed tomatoes (haven’t tried that, but it sounds like it would be tasty )
