Directions
Crock Pot Chicken With Cranberries, A nice easy dish for those busy days around the holidays Put this on before going shopping and dinner is waiting when you get home! Serve with rice or couscous and a veggie Boneless chicken thighs could be used also EDITED TO ADD: The 6 hour cooking time is based on my very old crockpot, but I have noticed my newer crockpot cooks hotter, so 4 hours on low may be plenty , If I double this recipe, do I need to cook it longer? If so, how much longer?, Delicious! I wanted to use up some cranberry juice so used this recipe (with some alterations) to do so It turned out well and my family and I enjoyed it So much so that my 6 year old son asked for thirds I didn’t have frozen cranberries, so used 1 3/4 cup cranberry juice and about 4 Tbsp orange juice and dried cranberries I doubled all the other ingredients except the onions and chicken I cooked it about 5 hrs on low and added the flour, cold water and dried cranberries about 30-40 minutes before serving while I cooked the rice Thank you for the recipe!
