It is sooooo tasty and makes the asparagus the star of the show! My mum has been making the very same recipe every year since we were old enough to enjoy asparagus YUM! used white local asparagus, a little more butter and cheese than the recipe called for just cause thats the way I know this recipe It was so good!     Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees F.

    Cook Asparagus in Boiling, Salted Water For 5 to 7 Minutes, or Until Al Dente.

    Drain.

    Melt Butter in Ovenproof Skillet.

    Add Asparagus and Saute For 5 Minutes.

    Sprinkle With Cheese, Add Salt and Pepper, and Bake For 2 Minutes.

    Transfer to Broiler and Gratinee For 2 Minutes, or Until Golden Brown.

    Sprinkle With Lemon Juice and Serve.
