Made for the What is on the Menu? Tag Game & love the story! -- Caught fish is plentiful here & a fave w/DH & me. I was mostly faithful to your recipe, but did modify 1 ingredient out of need & amend the prep slightly to suit my methods. I cannot get cornmeal here, so used a combo of corn flour & breadcrumbs. I mixed the dry ingredients in a sml plastic bag, shook the fillets well, placed them in the butter as directed & sprinkled more of the dry ingredient mix atop them. I cooked the fillets a bit longer than suggested & then let the hot-air fan add a bit of crisp. Voila! An easy-fix all done & delicious. Thx for sharing your recipe w/us. :-)

Baked ‘caught’ Fish, My 7 yr old came home from a friend’s house raving about dinner and saying I *had* to call and get the recipe I was surprised when she said it was fish, as she is not the biggest fan When I asked if she knew what kind of fish it was, she nodded enthusiastically and said it was ‘caught fish ‘ I made a phone call to check it out here for you is my friend’s recipe for super easy ‘cod fish ‘ ;o) BTW, she said bags of frozen cod fillets were readily available at the local Sam’s warehouse but had been hard to find at the groceries , Made for the What is on the Menu?
