Cheeseburger Mashed Potato Pie

Features:
    Cuisine:

Good basic recipe but needed some seasonings, I changed this in the following ways: First used my red copper oven proof deep skillet to cut down on clean up. I added a diced onion to beef while browning it, also I added garlic salt, garlic powder, ground pepper and a dash of low sodium Worcestershire sauce to the beef. I also added a thin sparse layer of thawed frozen thin green beans on-top of the first layer of beef. I also omitted the butter and milk and instead added some Cabot's sour cream french onion dip to the potatoes used pre-made refrigerated mash potatoes to save time and whipped the sour cream into the potatoes in a bowl. used only about 1 cup maybe a little more shredded Colby Jack cheese one layer on top of beef a bit on top of the green beans and the majority on-top of the potatoes. I also added chives and uncured bacon bits to the top after removing from the oven. Came out great this way, I like flavor. I recommend trying some of these suggestions.
