Chocolate Arrowroot Cookies (No Gluten, No Sugar), This is a alteration of my Recipe #401548, a ginger version These are a tasty little chocolate cookie without sugar or grains If you didn’t want nuts, you could leave them out but might want a bit more arrowroot These are mixed all in the saucepan you start with and are so good I usually make a double batch , Food process or crush the nuts until they are the size of a sesame seed or two Once all the ingredients are mixed and rolled into balls flatten them onto the baking tray , This recipe is confusing It calls for 20 g almonds Does that mean ground up? Well, that’s what I did I find that most cookie recipes are too sweet, but this one isn’t nearly sweet enough These cookies have a bitter, chalky taste I’ve made other cookies with arrowroot before, like those in Nourishing Traditions, and they are good These cookies are notthey have way too much arrowroot I won’t be making these again
