Crock Pot Chicken Vindaloo,For the Vegetarian version: use your favorite veggies, omit the cinnamon stick. This is my sister’s recipe (Thank you Najla! XOXO), she made it on the stove top. It’s really yummy!!,I’m not giving this stars because it may be my fault….I didn’t have the full 5 hours, so I cooked it on low for 2 and high for 2. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. It was so anticlimactic when i ate it! The smells were just fantastic and were driving me and the kids crazy, but when we tasted it it was just…flat. I probably won’t make this again. Oh, and if anyone else is having trouble grinding the cloves in the blender- it says “ground cloves”, people! LOL,So simple and tastes great! I added some extra curry and red pepper flake. Great meal with little prep.
