Easy Canned Green Beans

Features:
    Cuisine:

Are you kidding? "Genius Kitchen" is used a bit loosely here. Canned green beans are already soft and you want to cook them for 45 minutes?! Add salt to already highly salted canned food? I'm lost for words.

Easy Canned Green Beans,These green beans don’t taste like they came out of a can. They are full of flavor and a family favorite. The vinegar gives them a real twist!,Are you kidding? “Genius Kitchen” is used a bit loosely here. Canned green beans are already soft and you want to cook them for 45 minutes?! Add salt to already highly salted canned food? I’m lost for words.,SO SALTY. Draining (and maybe rinsing?) the beans first, against the recipe’s advice, might have helped. Using less beef bouillon might have helped. But the bottom line is that I should have trusted my gut instinct: using a canned product that already has plenty of salt and adding significantly more to it as the primary “flavor” is not going to make it better. I tried to eat a portion for the sake of not wasting food, but my husband and preschooler each took one bite and couldn’t stomach more…and neither of them is a picky eater in the least.
