Easy French Onion Soup,This soup is simple to make after work. My husband thinks it is as good if not better than any we’ve ever had in a restaurant.,Very simple and delicious. We used this in my catering class at school and in order to make the soup to go we put the bread on a 1/2 sheet with parchment paper and toasted it then topped it with the cheese and waited for it to melt, you could then easily scoop it up and drop on the soup and off it went to it’s very satisfied customer!,I was under the impression you used sweet onions correct?

Place Onions and Butter in Saucepan. |

Saut on Medium Heat Until Onions Are Tender. |

Add Garlic and Saut 1-2 Minutes (don't Let Garlic Burn). |
