Gourmet Dog Biscuits

Features:
    Cuisine:

I've made these several times, and my dog just loves them!! He starts hanging around the kitchen when he smells them cooking -- does he know a treat is coming soon? Like some other reviewers, after they are done cooking I turn the oven off and leave them in there for about 45 minutes so they are crunchier. If I have any leftover bacon grease in the fridge, use two melted tablespoonfuls of it and only 3 of the vegetable oil. I keep these in the fridge, and bring out a few in the morning to come to room temperature by snack time. I also just use a pizza wheel to cut them into rectangles. No scraps of dough to re-roll and it's really fast. These dog biscuits never last long enough that I have to freeze any. They are Rocky's
    favorite treat.
