Grandmaman’s Baked Apples,This is one of DH’s mother’s recipes. I’ve added cinnamon to the recipe after 2 reviewers suggested it.,This is not 4 stars in my opinion but not really 5 either. I think it is meant to be eaten warm? That’s how DD (toddler) well she just kind of picked and I ate it. It tasted eggy. Maybe that’s how it tastes or my egg is a bit old? Also mine was a lot more liquidy than the photos but we didn’t let it get cold. I made ours gluten free using white rice flour and half the amount of sweet rice flour, a starch. used sea salt, fuji apples plus the optional nuts for which I chose almost 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and I did add the cinnamon I. I love cinnamon so I added some to the mixture and on top. Made for RECIPE TAG GAME in KK’s forum.,My family just tried this last night, it went over well. I served it with some chocolate mint ice cream and whipped cream on top of the apples. I also added some cinnamon into the mixture that I mixed the apples in. Everyone gobbled it up! Thanks for sharing this recipe, it is sooo good!
