Kittencals 15 Minute Parmesan Pasta

Features:
    Cuisine:

I took this recipe and ran waaaaay off the rails with more stuff. I sweated some onions, green peppers, yellow peppers, and the 2 tablespoons of crushed, minced garlic in the olive oil and butter. I then added about a half cup of finely diced prosciutto, and a half cup of crumbled italian sausage. Tossed until hot, then added 8 oz of bowtie pasta (cooked), tossing it in the skillet like a salad, and added about a teaspoon of ground black pepper and the cup of grated parmesan (the good stuff you grate yourself from a wedge). It was absolutely decadent, with amazing flavor profiles of the peppers and proteins waging a war of roses with the parmesan on your tongue. The Damage? Not as bad as you think it might be, considering the volume it made vs. the serving: Calories per measuring cup: 394, 16 Protein and 335 sodium.

So yummy. used Angel Hair pasta and left out the red pepper flakes. We are wimps….don’t like things too spicy. This is a real keeper. Thanks for sharing.
