Onions Oignons Monegasque

Features:
    Cuisine:

This was surprisingly very good, we liked it a lot! I love trying new and unusual recipes, and this was easy to make, apart from the peeling of all the onions! It is a little sweeter than I would normally like, but nevertheless, we did enjoy this with homemade bread, cold cuts and salad this lunch time. Next time, I may add less sultanas and maybe throw in a few pine nuts. A very tasty version of pickled onions and I am so glad I tried this recipe - many thanks Mandy! Made for Holiday Tag. FT:-) PS: Photos were taken but I will have to upload them later as my camera is packed for my trip back to the UK tomorrow!
