    Made your recipe pretty much as given, although I did make it all into small balls not more than 2 inches in diameter, & had them on my finger food counter for a monthly group I host! Wasn't sure how well they'd go over, but the gathering of adults loved 'em! Thanks for posting the recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in this Spring's Pick A Chef]

    Mix Sugar, Corn Syrup, Water, Butter and Salt in Saucepan.

    Cook, Stirring Until Sugar Is Dissolved.

    Cook, Without Stirring to 270 Degrees to 290 Degrees on a Candy Thermometer.

    Add Vanilla Stir Just Enough to Mix.

    Place Popcorn in a Large Bowl.

    Pour Syrup Over the Bowl Slowly and Mix.

    Wet Hands Slightly and Shape Into Popcorn Balls.
