Grew up eating this soup at Plaza III. My tweaks are "better than bouillon roast beef base" instead of Kitchen Bouquet, (1/4 c) of V8 spicy hot tomato juice for some zip & Lawry's seasoning salt & fresh garlic, minced.

Plaza III Steak Soup – Copycat,There is a very nice restaurant in Kansas City, MO called the Plaza III – they are famous for their steak soup. This is a copycat version of it. It freezes very well too.,Grew up eating this soup at Plaza III. My tweaks are “better than bouillon roast beef base” instead of Kitchen Bouquet, (1/4 c) of V8 spicy hot tomato juice for some zip & Lawry’s seasoning salt & fresh garlic, minced.,My family lived in Kansas City in the mid ’60’s and would eat dinner at the Plaza III frequently. As a child I loved that soup, couldn’t wait for it! Now I’m thankful to have a great copycat recipe. I followed swchef’s advise and did add some boullion as well…fabulous! Brings back wonderful memories.
